OPENING DAY AT SHORT CREEK is Cancelled.
We may consider rescheduling a similar event later in the year.
Once again it is time for us to come together as a water family and begin the boating season. April 4th, 2020 marks the day! Once again we'll have a Maritime Swap Meet in the clubhouse. Please bring items that have gathered over the years that you would like to part with. We all have a collection of Fenders, Anchors, Lines, Radios etc. that are too good to throw out but that we just aren’t using.
We'll start the afternoon with lunch in the clubhouse before we make our way out to Short Creek. There will be a captain's meeting in the clubhouse at 12:45 PM prior to departing for the raft up. The raft will begin to build around 1:30pm.
Sharing food and drink during the flotilla will be the plan for the afternoon with a break-up scheduled for 5:30. As always there are several variables, the biggest being weather, so be prepared for last minute changes.
Please bring appetizers and beverages for the afternoon on the water.

Our lunch will be catered by Smokey's BBQ--Sandwiches of pulled pork and chicken, potato salad, coleslaw, cobbler and banana pudding for dessert.
Cost is $10 per person.
